The Platige team comprises 300 professionals: directors, art directors, graphic designers, and producers. Our staff is passionate about storytelling, so we constantly seek new and original ways to shape narratives and experiment with new media.
The studio has been internationally recognized with over 250 awards and honors: our animated shorts received the Main Prize at the SIGGRAPH festival four times and have received the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award. The studio was nominated for an Oscar, the Golden Palm at Cannes, and the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.

For heaven's sake, stop using Unreal for cinematics, leave it to the game developers. There are already enough problems in CG, and we want to see high-quality, sharp images. Unreal is everywhere now, and it always looks the same..
We're continuously diversifying our portfolio by utilizing Unreal Engine for projects where it adds the most value. Our studio embraces a flexible technology approach, allowing us to avoid being tied to a single pipeline. We are constantly looking for innovative solutions to bring fresh value to our work 🙌

Thank you for your comment. We should understand the diversity of studios and the needs of different industries. Platige Image has done some wild stuff if you look at their shorts. But, you didn't--.
No, Unreal Engine isn't the problem. The problem is how it is used for cinematics. It takes a lot of work to push the engine, to get sharp, high-quality images from it. Most people just use the default settings and call it a day.

Ambition the Film is a hauntingly wonderful little sci-fi gem. Especially delightful for having been created to promote a real world actual space science mission. The other wonderful little thing about this film is that there is a 2 minute epilogue short film also created for this. Worth looking for as well. 'Ambition-Epilogue' is its title.
